Welcome to IMOI, India’s leading maritime and offshore training institute operated by ISF Group. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the IMOI website and services. By accessing or using IMOI’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue your use immediately.
1. Definitions
IMOI: ISF Maritime & Offshore Institute, operated by ISF Group.

Payment Services: Online payment gateways for courses and programs.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using IMOI’s services, you confirm that you:
Are at least 18 years old or have legal authority to accept these Terms.
Understand and agree to these Terms of Service.
Have the legal capacity to enter this contract.
IMOI reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate any service or content at any time.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
Provide accurate information during registration.
Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
Immediately report any unauthorized account activity.
IMOI is not liable for damages arising from unauthorized account access.
4. License & Intellectual Property Rights
IMOI grants users a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use training services.
All IP rights, including course content, training materials, trademarks, and digital resources, belong to IMOI/ISF Group.
Users must not:
Copy, modify, or distribute IMOI content without explicit permission.
Claim ownership of IMOI materials.
Attempt unauthorized access or misuse of digital resources.
Violation of IP rights may lead to legal action.
5. Use of Services & Restrictions
By using IMOI’s website and services, you agree NOT to:
Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
Upload or share unauthorized or inappropriate content.
Attempt to breach website or course security.
Violate applicable laws or maritime industry regulations.
IMOI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.
6. Payment & Subscription Terms
Certain courses require payment via our secure payment gateway.
Payments are securely processed, and various pricing plans (single-course, bundles, corporate plans) are available.
Late payments may result in temporary suspension of service access.
No refunds once courses have commenced, except as required by law.
7. Content Ownership & User Data
User-Generated Content: Users retain ownership of personal content submitted but grant IMOI rights to store, display, and manage this content.
IMOI Content: All course content and learning materials are owned by IMOI/ISF Group and cannot be redistributed without explicit consent.
8. Service Modifications & Updates
IMOI may modify, update, or discontinue services and content anytime. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. IMOI is not responsible for damages from modifications.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
IMOI’s services are provided “as is,” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free services or specific employment outcomes from training.
10. Limitation of Liability
IMOI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed USD $2,000 or equivalent in INR.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, negligence, or misconduct.
11. Termination & Account Suspension
IMOI may terminate user accounts if:
Terms are violated.
Illegal activities occur.
Payments are missed.
Upon termination, user access is revoked, and data may be permanently deleted.
12. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Both parties agree to protect confidential information. Users must not disclose IMOI proprietary data without consent. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be first addressed via mediation before legal action. Class-action lawsuits are not permitted.
14. Marketing & Publicity Rights
IMOI may display user testimonials or partner logos unless users explicitly opt-out. To opt-out, contact us at isfgi@isfgroup.in.
15. Compliance with Laws
IMOI complies with international maritime standards, intellectual property laws, and data protection regulations (including GDPR). Users must not engage in activities violating these laws.
16. Force Majeure
IMOI is not responsible for non-performance due to:
Natural disasters.
Cyber-attacks.
Government or regulatory actions.
17. Notices & Electronic Communication
By using IMOI services, users agree to receive electronic communications, notifications, and updates via email.
18. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify IMOI from any claims arising from:
Violations of Terms.
Misuse of IMOI services.
Intellectual property infringement.
19. Changes to Terms
IMOI reserves the right to periodically update these Terms. Users will be informed of significant updates. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of revised Terms.
20. Miscellaneous
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our rights.
If any section is unenforceable, remaining terms remain valid.
IMOI may transfer its rights without prior notice.
