Program Overview
Complies with IMO Model Courses 2.07/7.17
Course conducted on ARI cloud which includes MC, ME, and Wartsila RT-flex engines or on full mission simulator with ME-C, GIE, and Wartsila XDF engines.
Training Objectives/Activities:
- Familiarization: Learn the panels of the Full Mission Engine Room Simulator.
- Engine Room Operation: Practice preparing and operating the Engine Room for: departure, manoeuvering, arrival, fuel changeover, and full speed sailing (including cargo prep).
- Team Response: Evaluate the candidate’s response in routine duration and emergency machinery operations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Conduct exercises on situation awareness and emergency response for major incidents like Engine Room Fire, Generator Fire and Major Flooding.
This Training Includes:
- In-depth sessions conducted by expert trainers
- Access to the our Learning Management Portal (HELMS) with all training materials
- Access to assessment results and feedback
- Certification by IMOI upon successful completion
- Comprehensive reports from ISF to the sponsoring company, including:
- Feedback provided by the participants
- Assessment scores of the candidates
- Faculty feedback on each candidate’s performance

Mr. Nagaraj Shenoy
With 32 years of extensive experience, Mr. Nagaraj Shenoy is a seasoned Marine Engineer skilled in Ocean-going and offshore sailing, New building projects, Technical Supervision/Vessel Management, ISO 9001-2015 Quality Implementation, and the development of new products/courses. Additionally, he serves as a Technical Faculty member, an External Examiner for DG Shipping Phase 2 EK papers and Class 4 Orals, and holds certification as an Independent Director from IICA – MCA.
