Hatch cover safety and maintenance training program provides participants with an in-depth knowledge of the hatch covers. The Hatch cover training covers different types of hatch cover, Monitoring and inspection, Maintenance and repair, and Safety with Hatch Cover Operations.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

1.   To understand the different types of commonly seen Hatch Covers such as ‘Single Pull Hatch Covers’, ‘Folding Type’, ‘Side Rolling’.

2.   To appreciate the importance of ‘Hatch Cleats’ and be familiarized with the ‘Roll-Up-Roll’ system.

3.   To understand factors and precautions associated with “safe operation of Hatch covers”.

4.   To understand the industry “Best Practices” and “Do’s & Don’ts’s” associated with Hatch Cover Operations.
