Program Overview
OVERVIEW:
The Oil Record Book training course is prepared to provide awareness and familiarization on how to fill out the Oil Record Book. The aim of this training is to ensure a proper understanding of the requirements of MARPOL 73/78 regulation 17 Annex I. Also, understand in general Guidelines given in MEPC 1. Circ.736 w.r.t ORB entries.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
1. Be Introduced to the “Oil Record Book” required on board ships, in compliance with MARPOL Annex I
2. Understand in general Guidelines given in MEPC 1. Circ.736 w.r.t ORB entries.
3. Be familiarized with the grey areas generally seen during ORB inspections by authorities.
4. Be introduced to the ORB Chain of custody.
This Training Includes:
- In-depth sessions conducted by expert trainers
- Access to the our Learning Management Portal (HELMS) with all training materials
- Access to assessment results and feedback
- Certification by IMOI upon successful completion
- Comprehensive reports from ISF to the sponsoring company, including:
- Feedback provided by the participants
- Assessment scores of the candidates
- Faculty feedback on each candidate’s performance
